Lycée Français de New York Summer Camp

Weekly Sessions June 25 - July 27
Preschool: 9am-12pm, 1st to 5th grades: 9am-3:45pm

Our Camp: The Lycée Français de New York offers a unique day camp experience for children ages three through ten. Depending upon their level, children will have an introduction to the French language or have an opportunity to speak French throughout the day, as well as participate in exciting and fun activities. Our international staff consists of experienced teachers who are dedicated to making this a safe and entertaining summer for your camper.  Many of the counselors teach at the Lycée or in our after school program.

Facilities: Our new building includes a large music studio, an auditorium, two gyms with walls padded by mats and a smaller gymnasium equipped with ballet bars, tricycles, and gross motor climbing structures.  For outdoor activities we have a roof play area cushioned with a rubber surface, as well as access to John Jay Park across the street.

Daily Schedule: 9am-3:45pm, Monday-Friday (1/2 day option for children who have not completed kindergarten).

Activities: the children will be able to choose from many activities suitable to their age: sports (soccer, basketball, gymnastics, karate, fencing, swimming…); French musical workshop (exposure to and opportunity to play real instruments, a new approach to reading music, singing, and dancing); chess and board games; French cooking; French literary magazine; arts; French theater and great special events and guests invited to the school.
