Landmark College

Bucolic Putney, Vermont was the scene of an emotional graduation at Landmark College. Amidst the rolling lawns of the campus, over 50 young people who never thought they would receive a college degree, came up to the podium to be honored one by one and to share a few thoughts with hundreds of parents, family members, faculty and friends.

Each related how they had suffered from low self-esteem and never thought they could do college level work. Many spoke of debts of gratitude to outstanding professors and one student insisted that an advisor share the podium when he received his degree.
