Avoid the dog days of August outdoors–come to Logos Bookstore and enjoy the cool air inside as you figure out your vacation reading or choose a card or gift for someone else.

Want to join a reading group? Come join the Kill Your TV Reading Group (KYTV), which meets the first Wednesday of every month from 7 to 9 P.M., and is about to complete its fourth year.

The August meeting is Wednesday, August 7 at 7 P.M. The book that will be discussed will be Howard’s End by E. M. Forster. The September meeting will be Wednesday, September 4 at 7 P.M., when Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison will be discussed. Before the end of each meeting, group members choose the next selection for two months down the road. This August, the selection will be made for October and in September the selection will be made for November. All books selected are available for purchase at Logos. After the meetings there is an opportunity for those who want to, to go out to dinner together.

Logos’ Children’s hour of book reading and activities continues weekly every Monday at 3:30 P.M.

For book reading suggestions this month, come visit Logos and see what the staff’s suggestions are, all lined up in one of the store windows. Inquire about the Logos Discount Club and find out why Logos is the independent bookstore that saves you money! Come on over!
